Alex Dagbemabou Agbannon best known as Alain Joe is a Beninese Pop, Hip-Hop and R&B singer songwriter. He sings in Yoruba, English and Fun/Gun his local dialect.

Background:
He is 7th of 8 children, born in 1985 January 1 in Dassekomey Ouedo, Abomey Calavi (Atlantique) Benin Republic, where he use to be a farmer, dancer, footballer and a mill apprentice. his late father Honfo Hounye Agbannon was a farmer and a hunter who also lived in Nigeria in the 60s and mother Yeyinou Agbannon is a trader.Early Life and Experiences:
He grew up in Lagos Nigeria where he has been since 1994 after a decision to leave Benin for Nigeria which his parents frowned at but later granted it after much pressure.
At age 9 he worked with a family in
Ago Okota and Isolo Lagos, where he hawked moi-moi, eko, rice and eba
for two years. He also worked with other families as a house help in
1997 to 2001 at Ifako Gbagada and Apapa, Lagos. While working at Apapa
at age 13 he realized the need for education and asked for permission to
start evening lesson at Evans Tutor, Peculiar Kids Primary School and
Methodist Primary School Apapa, Lagos and it was granted. He left the
family later as misunderstanding arise between him and the boss
concerning going to full time secondary school.
At
early 2001 he started work as a security guard still at Apapa where he
earned a monthly salary for the first time for about three years. He was
removed for no reason. He was offered another job at his church as a
security guard at night only and as a sacristan at evenings. During
this time he remembered his dreams for secondary school and enrolled in
Randle Secondary school Apapa and graduated in 2007.
In
2004 he enrolled in MS Driving School Apapa so as to work as a driver.
The dream to drive came through later in 2009 as he started work as a
driver for six years and was later move to work in the office due to
management order. During working as a driver he enrolled in a per time
studies at Lagos State Polytechnic and graduated with ND in Business
administration and management.
Music Career:
In 1998 he began to write songs after listening to several genres of music both local and foreign musicians. Ring the Bell single was one of his first songs it was first released in 2005 as a demo and it was reproduced again in 2013 and (feat. AK Blaze) with two other promo songs "Bragging" and "Mebiiton" with the stage name "AA V'CLOWN" the song was finally reproduced in late 2017 and the video was shot in early 2018.Works
While thinking of the reproduction of Ring the Bell, his nephew Maxime Agbannon a P.O.P and an interior decorator told him that he received a message in a vision that; "he should reproduce a song called Ring the Bell"
He also released a two track Promo CD which includes "Follow Me" (feat. Tp Star) and "Womi Jeje" in 2014.
He has two other videos; "Follow me" 2014 and "Chesy at Bakasy" 2016.
In early 2017 he released a ten track album titled; "Believe" that includes some of the earliest songs after an opportunity to meet with Tejubabyface and Koffi for advice.
